My fiancé and I just leased two cars this past weekend. We went to 3 different Hyundai dealerships and this dealership easily stood out. They waste no time, and are up front and honest. Luis was a huge help when trying to choose a car, and was very honest on expectations we should have. He went above and beyond to get us both in the cars we wanted. We could not be happier!

I brought my car to the service department 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with 83,000 miles, It had been having oil consumption issues for about a year. I had previously taken it to a different dealership and they told me Hyundai is not acknowledging this problem so just keep putting oil in it. So I ended up having some different problems, I don't know if they were related, So I brought it to Leyman. I just felt like they were disrespectful from the beginning. Talking down to me. Because I am a woman. They would not check what I told them the problem seemed to be from what it was doing. They just kept trying to sell sell sell. After having my car for 2 months and doing nothing, I picked it up RUNNING LIKE GARBAGE and ended up taking it to a reputable mechanic who said my engine was full of sludge. On my third cylinder, the spark plug was wet and grimy with black stuff, which, the mechanics at Leyman should have been able to see, and they also said that it showed that my second cylinder was getting ready to go bad as well, which there was no mention from the mechanic at the dealership because they just wanted to charge me for different things without really evaluating the whole problem. It ended up being that my engine was not repairable. I had to have a different engine put in my car 2 days after leaving the dealership with no satisfaction from them. I tried to call to talk to them about this and they have not returned my phone calls. I called the main big customer service Hyundai number that I had been working with. They have not returned my phone cal The only reason they got 2 stars was after having my car for a month they actually did step up and give me a loaner.

They've lost me as a customer

**** Actually put it back down to one star. Because when I returned to the loaner, I spoke to the service manager to tell him that I had to put an engine in my vehicle myself. They were more concerned about my bad review. When they met with their bosses, He said they were told you need to figure out how to fix this.. He said, please in the future, if you need service come see us. I said you wouldn't service the engine that came in my car, Why do you think I would bring my car back to you after I had to pay myself to have an engine put in it? Are they for real? Not only that, but you disrespected me as a woman and a customer.

I did reach out to see if there was a way we could fix it but i'm not accepting a free oil change in the future for you to make it right and feel good about yourself.

The engine that was in my car at 83000 miles was a complete piece of junk and filled with gunk and had an oil consumption issue. This was the manufacturers fault. No fault of my own but yet I had to handle it myself.

Updated Review: They obviously recieved enough negative reviews to make some changes but it hasn't made a big impact. Even with the new bells and whistles, the customer service is still poor as well as the cost for services. An itemized bill is definitely needed because it seems like they'll try and get you for $4000+ without you really understanding why the cost is that high.
