About Whitmore Dental

Established in 1983.

West Texas native, Dr. Marcus Whitmore, graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry and 25 years later remains committed to the health and wellness of dentistry creating beautiful, healthy smiles in the Dallas area.

He attended the first postgraduate Continuum of Aesthetic Dentistry held at Baylor College of Dentistry and has continued to take a leadership role in the industry, thus constantly evaluating new dental technologies and techniques.

Dr. Whitmore invests over 70 hours every year in an effort to further his skills in such areas as adhesive dentistry, implant surgery, snoring and sleep apena solutions, aesthetic dentistry, periodontics, and endodontics. Dr Whitmore is also committed to giving back to the community by providing general dental services to underprivileged adults at North Dallas Shared Ministries. Each year he donates over 80 hours of service.

Dr. Whitmore has been committed to the community of Dallas and surrounding areas his entire career. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Whitmore enjoys family trips to wine country with his wife and three children. He is an accomplished saxophonist playing in the church band and enjoys participating with Band Boosters Plano West High School's Band Boosters Club.
