Long story short, a mechanic and two supervisors not only neglected to identify and/or fix two obvious worn suspension parts that I, *the customer*, suggested they check as I was experiencing front end vibrations. Instead, they tried to sell me a part that was completely unneeded and would only have served to mask the symptoms of the underlying issues. When I questioned the mechanic in person, he doubled down, told me all was fine and again insisted I buy the suggested part.

After neglecting their service (knowing just enough not to get fleeced) and immediately taking my vehicle to a Jeep expert in Yonkers (who has been in business for over 70 years), it turns out the parts I suspected were the issue (track bar bushings and ball joints) were indeed very worn and in immediate need of replacement (I was brought into the garage and physically shown the wear). As a result, the tires had also worn unevenly and were also deemed unsafe, even if rotated. The one part Bill Volz insisted was the issue (steering stabilizer) was, lo and behold, good as new and completely functional! The Jeep was fixed in a day and now drives like a dream.

Based on my experience, I’m left to assume BV mechanics are either dangerously undertrained or just plain dishonest. Either way, they’re lucky the problem was correctly diagnosed by another garage. Allowing a vehicle to knowingly leave in unsafe condition or missing obvious repairs due to negligence (on top of attempting to sell me snake oil) seems like a huge issue for this dealership in regard to liability.

I have reported this incident to the Maintenance Manager. I absolutely will never return here as I do not trust them with my vehicle and, by extension, the safety of my family. Hopefully your personal experience will be better! Good luck.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike verde and his team that made the process of finding me a new truck that fit my needs and my budget. I was in the market for a Jeep Gladiator. I found a few I liked on a Sunday via Autotrader. I utilized the inquire feature on autotrader and within a couple hours Leoun from sales emailed me back, again on a sunday when dealerships in this area are closed. We exchanged a few emails back and forth and I decided to take a ride on Monday to check out the vehicle. Leoun and his team were able to make the numbers work and were very very friendly and easy to negotiate with. I was in the service department where I heard a group of adult male associates calling people “retarded” and “retards”. In 2025, this is completely unacceptable. I am a special education teacher as well as have family members with disabilities and it was very hard to hear in a place of business. Someone should train these people on how to speak, especially when paying customers are in the building, you never know who is hearing you or how your words can affect others. Please educate your staff.
