If your vehicle needs service, do not bring it here. All of the oil poured out of my Charger and it was towed to Westgate Dodge. The first question they asked was "when is your appointment?". I explained this was not a planned service, which is why the vehicle was towed in. I was then told I could make an appointment to have it looked at, but the first available was 14 days from now. I had to have the vehicle picked up and towed to another service facility that diagnosed the issue the same day.Report

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Westgate Dodge Ram of Wake Forest. I was referred to this dealership by Credit Acceptance, a lender I’ve worked with before and trust. I drove 45 minutes from Chapel Hill because it’s the closest location, only to feel completely dismissed and ignored.Report
I explained that I had recently paid off a $13,000 vehicle but needed a new reliable car after an accident. I also made it clear that I wanted to work specifically with Credit Acceptance for financing, as they were the ones who directed me to the dealership. Despite this, the sales team ran my credit through multiple other banks without my consent, damaging my credit score.
I was recommended a Dodge Charger for $15,000, which I could afford and was interested in, but instead of working with my budget and lender request, they focused on pushing me into financing options that didn’t make sense for my situation. This left me feeling like their primary goal was earning a commission rather than helping me find a reliable vehicle.
If you’re not in the market for a high-end car or don’t make six figures, prepare to feel disregarded here. This experience was a waste of my time, stressful, and completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this dealership, especially if you’re looking for a straightforward, customer-focused experience.
