My ex-husband served me with papers to amend our child support agreement. I was blind sided. I had to find a lawyer - fast. Ms. Goody was recommended to me by a former neighbor who is also a lawyer.
She originally told me the fee was $1500 (which in itself is a lot of money to me), and that she was almost positive she would be able to easily work this out with my ex's lawyer and that we would not have to go to court.
then I had to find out from my ex-husband (NOT from Ms. Goody) about our upcoming court date;
then I had to pay Ms. Goody an additional $750 to cover the court costs;
and then, when the court visit went an hour longer than she thought it would (even though I got there an HOUR before she even showed up), she dared to charge me over $400 for that additional hour of standing around in court.
And then after all that, my ex husband didn't even pay me the agreed-upon amount, until about 6 weeks later, after I continually badgered him for the money.

Keep yourself away from this law office, this is a pure money driving lawyering business. i spent $9000 with them, but no product, yet they still want to charge me another $8000 for a minor and simple divorce case. i started my case fresh with another lawyer for just $1000, it was done complete!
