I am very impressed with Dr. Rabin. At age 86, I have never had a doctor meet me for an emergency appointment on a late Saturday afternoon. I was touched by his caring, professional demeanor and pleased that my regular ophthalmologist, of many years, agreed with his diagnosis and treatment. My first visit with Dr. Rabin, but I'll be back. Appointment took a little longer than expected, but I think there was an emergency that needed the doctors attention.
The front desk and the assistant Diamond were great. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that if I want a prescription for my glasses I am required to pay $45.00. Very disappointing.

Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry you were disappointed about the fee. Unfortunately Medical Insurances (Medicare and Blue Cross etc.) do not pay for the Glasses Refraction. Vision insurances such as VSP pay for this. We also find it frustrating that medical insurances do not cover this service.

Everyone in the office was very pleasant and professional. I was taken in to see a specialist right at the time of my appointment. All exam tests were simple to follow. Dr. Rabin explained all of the results from the exam in a clear and easy to understand manner.

As has been noted in other reviews, Dr. Rabin has taken over Dr. Michelle Liu's ophthamology practice. He is very knowledgeable and has answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He performed cataract surgery as well as a procedure involving glaucomacrthis last summer. I am very pleased with the results. He was also very thorough in the post operative visits.
