Dr. Vivek P Kushwaha attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his B.A. from the College of Natural Sciences. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Kushwaha completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency with the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center. He was also awarded a fellowship to study spine surgery at the Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California. Dr. Kushwaha is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is licensed to practice in California and Texas.
