Vision Salon Eye Care Associates

My new favorite eye glasses place. They were ready for me at my appointment time. Everyone was polite. Dr. Johnson was patient and detailed in answering my questions. They also have cute eye glass frames at affordable prices. The best part is that this business is black owned! I will definitely recommend this vision center to others.

I've seen tremendous improvement in my eye care since I switched to Vision Salon. I love that the Vision Salon team is patient with me. Dr. Johnson explained my issues in plain language. I've finally found my eye care home.

Dr. Ansel Johnson and his staff are truly amazing. They are knowledgeable, second to none in eye-care, and always polite and caring. Before my recent cataract surgery, my last prescription was a -14 for contacts; yes this is not a typo, a -14.0. I was born with high myopia and for the past 59 years have worn thick unattractive glasses (primarily at home, thank God for contacts). However the glasses that I got from Dr Johnson were the best pair I ever had. My vision was clear and the glasses were not unattractive considering the prescription. I wore them outside without feeling self-conscious. Dr. Johnson and his team are a God-sent and I highly recommend them and am confident that you will not be disappointed!

Had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and staff. I was greeted immediately and serviced timely. With COVID19, I was able to try on glasses and not rushed or limited. Will be returning.

The Vision Salon Eye Care professionals and staff provide services on a personal and professional level, whether to adults or youth/children. The friendly and warm environment allows the customer to feel comfortable and at ease, regardless of the type of services they are seeking.
Dr. Ansel Johnson is a highly skilled, well trained, consummate eye care specialist, who provides thorough and in-depth examinations of the eye, to diagnose, treat, suggest, and recommend products or procedures to assist with maintaining a healthy eye, and continued visual life, through a regimen of beneficial options.
I found Dr. Johnson on the Internet, because I wanted to find an eye care specialist who could be attentive to my needs. After a phone call of inquiry, I made an appointment to have an exam.
As a person who has a long standing history of diabetic eye issues, including diabetic retinopathy, I was pleased to be informed that Diabetic eye care is one of the areas of which Dr. Johnson specializes. I live in Detroit, Michigan, but I had no objections to driving to Illinois to be seen by a doctor who has received so many wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed. The trip was well worth it! I believe my eyes will be well taken care of.
I would recommend this clinic, the Vision Salon Eye Care Associates, to anyone who is seeking a healthcare professional who is dedicated and devoted to the care of their eyes and their continued optical health and maintenance.
