Veranda Senior Living at Barber Station

Absolutely adore it here! So blessed to work with such wonderful residents and employees! The building and views here are STUNNING. So close to downtown and right by all the yummy restaurants. Wish I could give it 10 stars!!!

Great staff, beautiful facility and lots of fun activities . Thankful my mother is living here!

I absolutely LOVE this community!! The food is delicious, the staff is so kind and helpful, and the views are breathtaking!! I thoroughly enjoy the close access to the greenbelt!!

My sister was staying here and was so upset and miserable all the time, she was never tended to when she called for help, her medication was often late and sometimes refused because they were too busy. They broke HIPAA laws and told anyone and everyone that called there to check on her everything about her situation, treatment and meds. she was on. Moved her out so fast....be warned about director Kerri Wells.

Barber Station has an amazing team that always works together to do anything for the residents. The caregivers at this building are so caring and passionate to help the residents. The kitchen team always makes delicious meals. Every week they have a theme lunch meal that residents enjoy. Neva whos in charge of activities always has a full schedule for all the residents and keeps them busy with exercising classes, bingo, dressed up theme lunches and many more. Also this team worked together when we open the COVID unit next door to help all those residents that had been affected by the virus from different facilities.

You won't find more caring staff than you will at Veranda. While Executive Director at another assisted living community, Kerri led her team to take incredible care of my Grandmother during her last years. I couldn't be more grateful.
I would definitely recommend reaching out to Veranda at Barber Station with any questions you may have about assisted living or memory care for you or your loved one.

The views are amazing and we felt right at home! My favorite part was the deer just outside the windows! I was very impressed with everyone.

Caution those that are thinking of coming here...Don't believe anything that the Director Kerri Wells tells you, she is a liar and a horrible person. The mess up the medication to almost killing the residents, There is no housekeeping, food is awful and the head nurse Whitney Davis is never available and makes so many mistakes....Run away from here!!!

Veranda and their staff have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped make the transition for my family member from her home to assisted living as seamless as possible. Absolutely recommend them to anyone.
