About Venezias Pizza
It all started when Frank and Clara Montanile moved to New York City from Italy in the late 60's. There they met, fell in love, married & had a baby boy named Domenick (who...little did they know...would someday follow in his father's footsteps and grow up to become a Master Pizza Maker). In search of some clean air and a better place to raise a family, they found themselves in Albuquerque, New Mexico...Rio Rancho to be exact.
In 1978, they opened Venezia's, a full-service Italian restaurant. Then in 1995, after their son Domenick & their daughter Linda moved to Tempe, Arizona to attend college at Arizona State, Frank & Clara sold the landmark they'd created in New Mexico and moved to Arizona to be closer to their children.
In 1998, Domenick graduated from college and married the love of his life, Jaime. Together they are proud to carry on the family tradition of making great pizza, and are excited to share with you the secret family recipes that have been with the Montanile family for generations.

Venezia's Pizza has the BEST NY Pizza in all of the western side of the US and in all of Arizona. The staff is so nice and friendly. Their pizza is out of this world!! The slices are so huge and the sauce is great. They have lots of toppings and specialty pizzas including the Italian Stallion which has their yummy sauce on it plus Sliced Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Onions, & JalapeÃ±os! It's got your spice that's for sure and I love spicy. Their salad pizza is very good. I perfer their Chicken Caeser Salad Pizza it is to die for. Also, they have great daily specials and they even have 24" pizza which is enough for 8 people. If you are in need for some good authentic NY Pizza then head over to Venezia's Pizza.
Definitely the best slices in town (though not the best pizzateria I have ever been, but certainly one of the best) I go here on a weekly basis and am never disappointed with the food or the service. THE ITALIAN STALLION is my personal favorite (along with the new CIBOLA pair with SPICY CHICKEN yum!!) the crust has just the right amount of chewy and tear, always being crispy and the pasta is cooked perfectly. The slices are enormous and loaded with flavor, and to top that, they have the perfect amount of toppings and aren't super greasy. The mix of sauces cheese and topping has a full flavor in every bite. Overall, it was delicious! Restaurant was clean, employees were nice. Though, i did have to wait a bit for my pizza to be ready, but it was busy so not surprising. I wish they had coke products but other than that this is a perfect spot for lunch any day of the week, and oh by the way, TVâ€™s to watch sports are nice too.
