I had a very unfortunate experience with VCFO. In a matter of a week, my 3 points of contact left the company. I had spent thousands of dollars and months getting them up to speed to learn our business.

At that point, I decided to discontinue my relationship with the company and they are refusing to give us back the retainer we put up to start off the relationship citing that I didn't give a proper 30 day notice.

How can I give a 30 day notice when all the people I worked with at the company left???

What could have been a positive experience, ending the relationship on good terms, has unfortunately turned into a situation where I have to let others know how this company does business so you don't end up in the same situation I am in.
