Went to go look at a rental the person showing us the house was very rude and didn't even give us a tour. She opened the door and said look around then got on her phone and started calling someone. It looked like she was in a rush. She showed up with a 49ers shirt and hat. Didn't really seem professional. The way she acted and dressed was a big red flag. I don't know if they're all like this but I decide not to submit a application I can only imagine how they'll act as a landlord.

Just an ok management company. Despite being located in Silicon Valley in 2023, they don't take online payments.

When the washer/dryer units at the property were all broken and the owner decided to not replace them for months on end, someone I talked to tried to blame the residents for not keeping it clean? Which was a weird spin. Played the 'We're just the management company relaying the property owners decision' card too often.

The unit was nice and had no big issues. For the most part everyone I interacted with was pleasant.

Strictest requirements I’ve ever seen on an application. Our household makes around 300k a year and we’re denied do a late credit card fee 6 years ago… don’t waste your time with these people

Attempted to rent a home but because of a 615 score and two negative marks from YEARS ago, I was denied (even though I make 6 figures). These guys don't give people the chances they deserve. I'll never rent with VMG nor use them for property management in the future. STAY AWAY! Only proceed if you have perfect credit history, have a fax machine and are okay with using snail mail for payments.

Very poor Managment. I lived in Chantel Ct and had terrible experience with VMG. Tenant should think very carefully before go with them.

One of the staff was so rude talking me over the phone so I tried to keep communication over email.

Any emergency repair problem takes min two to three weeks to get it fixed and they don’t bother about tenant suffering.

My whole deposit money isn’t return even though I left the apartment in a very good and clean condition.

I co-rented a 4-br San Jose property through Valley for several years, until the property owner decided to sell the house.
The management company was responsive when we needed repairs, gave us plenty of heads-up when they needed us to move out, and wonder of wonders was quite reasonable about normal wear-and-tear on the house and gave us our full deposit back (we *did* hire a professional cleaner). No fussing or arguing over tiny scuffs trying to nickel-and-dime like other landlords I've known, just a reasonable review of the state of the home. Would recommend.
