A total waste of money and unsafe!

Answering to your reply: Glad you know who I'm! Would be better if you can show the same level of intelligence while organising a tour! And, it's very rude of you saying, vindictive email after humiliation. What did you upgrade for free? You mean, nightmare to humiliating nightmare?! I'm writing a review so we'll be the last to go through this humiliation we certainly didn't deserve. Actually, it's more of a disgusting experience than humiliation!

Dear Samapika (for readers info - the partner of Dinakaran Ulganathan) We are deeply upset to read this unfair and exaggerated review. We upgraded you for free, bent over backwards to re-organise activities that were cancelled due to bad weather, were in regular contact with you throughout your stay - including over 40 text messages. You are the first clients in over 15 years of operating to have left a bad review. You are also the first clients to leave without paying resulting in us having to contact your partner's employers and the small claims court to get you to pay for the activities you did. I suspect it is this humiliation of being found out that has triggered this vindictive email.

5 days of nightmare with after effects! Never expected my first time experience on a winter activity would be such a disaster. They made us go for a cross country skiing on a thin ice covered rock (literally) where my wife broke her back. When complaint they said, it is safe as long as the guide say so! WHAT AN ATTITUDE! So, I refused to make a 200€ payment (Total vacation costs me 2147€) to that activity and they called up my employer threatening to file a complain on a small claim court. All this while I was moving home during covid-19 crisis and constantly replying to their emails trying to reason. This is not a vindictive review but my experience. STAY AWAY!

5 stars is not be enough for these guys. The effort that JB and Sally put in to supporting their families whilst on holiday is outstanding. All the activities are organised, and information provided to enable you to get to the activity with the correct equipment. It is just sooo easy! All the instructors are fun, and are able to pitch the activity at the right level, and give the right level of encouragement to ensure enjoyment for all. We would highly recommend our accommodation, Bathildes Farm. Henri and Marie have created beautiful and comfortable appartemnts, and despite our poor French were keen to ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay.

Whilst we enjoy our family time on holiday, it is always nice to run into other "Undiscoverd Mountains Families" at activities and the weekly BBQ to share experiences and stories.

This is our second holiday with undiscovered Mountains, and still we have unfinished business in the Champsaur valley!

We had a fantastic short pre-Christmas break in Orcieres, packed with snow-filled activities. JB's organisation was superb, the lovely Bernard's instruction very patient and Catrems Hotel friendly and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
