Loved the environment and feeling when I walked in. Asked the kind woman about some seeds and she gave me a handful of them that were free. She also told me about some information that was very helpful. Will definitely recommend this place!

Devin, so sorry for the slow delivery, but in this case it is out of our control. We received your order on 4-19, and the order shipped next business day. It has been in the care of carriers since that time. International orders do take quite a while in transit.

I called ahead for directions and specifics. I asked if 1 or 2 driveways and which to use. I was told only 1 and it was explanatory. So the drive way was exit only for trucks. You turn in the parking lot as the first driveway which wasn't told to me. I was told to go to warehouse 200 which was #2. The door says Knox not True Leaf. The door market recieving isn't the recieving door on the True Leaf building. Why bother calling ahead?
Once I was there the staff in the warehouse was very pleasant. They admitted all truck drivers have issues with the drive way etc. They off loaded me and I was about my way.

If you need seeds and you live locally it's great. And bonus, they usually have a table or shelf with free seeds to try when you go pick up your order at will-call.

Update: I was contacted and offered an explanation the the seeds had been re-tested for the 2022 growing season. This information would have been good up front so when the seeds arrived I knew to expect new labels on 2021 seeds. I was later refunded the purchase price of the seeds which was unexpected and very kind. I have donated one set of seeds to our local elementary school and we'll see how they germinate.

Seeds were out of date. Contacted True Leaf and they sent me new seeds. New seeds had labels printed and stuck over original dates which were for last year. So not only did they send me out of date seeds twice but the second time they lied about them being out of date. So sad because I really wanted to shop local and love this company. I will be shopping with a more honest company in the future.

I also sent an email about the second set of seeds and was ignored.

Sarah, My apologies for the confusion on this. This is always a challenge for all seed companies at the switch-over of the new year. I can 100% understand your concerns. Shipping the 2021 seeds on January 6th, was a mistake on our part. However the re-stickered seeds are legit. We are a few blocks away from the Utah Department of Agriculture, who conducts 100% of our germination testing, and we test every lot of seed (tens of thousands of tests / year). In short, there is no such thing as "old seeds" only seeds that have declined in germination below the federal guidelines for germination rate by variety. The re-stickered packets have been re-tested by the Utah Department of Ag and are still high germinating seeds. It is proper, legal and common industry practice. Either way, I'll send you an email directly with more info, and would love the opportunity to make sure arrive at a result that pleases you.

Loved their cover crop seed. Needs curbside service for handicapped as the store seems to be inaccessible.

Sean, thank you for that feedback. We will discuss ways to implement a curbside option this week and see if we can solve that.
