Dr. Nitza I. Alvarez is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), on Adult Echocardiography by the American Society of Echocardiography(ASE), and Nuclear Cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC). She is a Professional member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Heart Association (AHA-ASA), ASE, and ASNC. Dr. Alvarez has a an expertise in management of Women Heart Disease, and share a special interest in management of arrhythmias and preventive cardiovascular medicine. In fact she is an avid runner and believe that healthy lifestyle is the beginning of a better heart health.
