Dee Thomason opened a Ford dealership in Lake Oswego in 1955. His son Scott Thomason took over in 1983 and over the next 16 years added multiple dealerships to his business becoming known as the leader in great prices, fun advertising, and the ability to get people financed that far surpassed the competition. For 11 of those years, Steve Sheppard worked in various roles throughout Scott's dealerships. Fast forward to 2012 and Scott's son Chris worked for Steve for 5 years in Bend. December 1, 2020: Chris Thomason, Gregory Thomason, and Steve Sheppard are now the proud owners of Thomason Ford in the central Willamette Valley. They will carry on the tradition of a family owned and operated business and will be the leaders in great prices and helping people acquire vehicles that fit their needs.
