Had a breast reduction 7/31/20. Very happy with Dr McNemar and the results. What I’m not happy with is Flor who is very slow in submitting paperwork to EDD and my work to guarantee my job security. I’m still waiting on her as of today.

The administrative aspects of healthcare can, understandably be frustrating. That is why we do our utmost to submit records or documentation in a timely and diligent manner. Whenever patients are concerned about our process, we are happy to share with them when particular communications are sent form our office. This often reveals a lapse or delay with other agencies but we are committed to advocating for our patients. We will even resubmit patient paperwork in the interest of urgency. Any patient concerned about the status of any documentation should contact our office for support.

Very dedicated with throughness unmeasured process to medical needs...

I went in for just a tummy tuck consultation i didnt know what to expect and i walked in super nervous. The doctor and his nurses made me feel super comfortable. And instead of the doctor just giving me a quote and sending me on my way. I feel he really took his time and answered all my questions and even gave me extended resources so that i can achieve the results i want. He seemed like he really cared about me and my journey. I cant wait to go back in 6 month ????

I had an approval from my insurance in December of 2017. They could not schedule me for a consultation until August of 2018. I waited and did the consultation because this is who my primary Dr recommended. I asked the Dr about a few extra things and he literally told me to go on Amazon to buy his book and I could get all my questions answered. I left the office and went to the front desk and the lady told me that if I wanted to pay for some cosmetic surgery the Dr could get me in faster. I declined so she said he would be able to get me in, in about 9 months so got the paperwork to get my insurance approval filled out then I left. Fast forward to this week 6/14/2019 I finaly got my insurance approval so I called to make my appointment. I was told by the office that the Dr is booked up until July of 2020 for insurance cases. I told her my approval was good for 3 months and she told me that there are lots of people waiting. Unless I wanted to buy other cosmetic surgery because the Dr is not really doing insurance cases anymore. I told her I have waited 2 years and already had a consultation she again said "well there is a long list of people waiting because the Dr makes more money with private money then with insurance cases". I told her I was not sure what to do and she said "call your primary care Dr and have him find you another surgeon."... ok that is what I did. I called today to get started with another Dr. Because I have 2 years wasted, and they really expect people to wait like this. They said 9 MONTHS I waited and now it would be another year. No thank you.

We do apologize for any frustration or miscommunication. Due to high demand, scheduling is often very tight and patients end up booking procedures far in advance. Though most of our patients choose to pay out-of-pocket we do our best to accommodate those who want to use their insurance benefits. From time to time, the details of a patient’s plan may create difficulties when it comes to scheduling. As mentioned, some insurance plans do provide a time table of authorization which does not coincide with our appointment calendar. We try to be as flexible as we can without impacting other patients with scheduled procedures. We also try to be a resource in assisting patients with referrals if another provider is more able to accommodate their need. If we can be of any further help, please contact our office.
