My experience with the Stout Law Firm and Jelena Kovacevic was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. I had a tough situation and she was #1 very honest about our path and what that would entail and then #2 the BEST advocate you could ever want on your side. She knows the law and she is a fighter for your rights. The way she handled herself with the judge and the mediator was professional and firm. Her negotiating skills are fantastic. Whenever I needed her she was there for me. I recommended her to a friend in a high value/complicated divorce and she did an EXCEPTIONAL job once again. Professional, Intelligent, and Down to Earth; these are the the main characteristics of Jelena Kovacevic of The Stout Law Firm. Divorce is actually pretty complicated, even non- contested divorces can end up confusing and overwhelming. Jelena knows Texas family law and Jelena knows people. I never felt unheard or uninformed and I learned a lot about my strengths, as well as some areas I needed work. Honest, dependable, real people helping others navigate the choppy waters and unpredictable storms of family issues. I have recommended Jelena to my closest friends and would recommend her again.

I can not recommend this firm after using them for my divorce this year. I never felt that the attorney took the time understand my needs or concerns, with our only truly substantive conversation where I felt like I was being seen as a person taking place during the down time of the mediation. However, I figured that I wasn't paying for being seen, but for quality representation. However, it's become clear now that there was a significant failure to fully safeguard my interests, something which has only recently become clear to me; and while I share ultimate responsibility for having missed the omission, I must also wonder what I was paying for if not for an experienced guide who was not emotionally invested and stressed who could help ensure nothing was missed.

Might want to update your website, I researched it before even calling and when I called the person on the phone told me yea that’s family law but we don’t handle it. It’s literally posted on your site, practice area- child relocation.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Angela and her team for making my experience with the firm a wonderful one. Their level of professionalism, preparedness, and knowledge is unmatched. Most importantly, their kindness and patience made an unfortunate circumstance much more bearable. I would recommend the team to family and friends - as I know they’d be in great hands.
