As a frequent business trThis establishment, however, stands out for its attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfactionaveler, I've experienced my fair share of hotelsThe check-in process was efficient, tThe on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu suitable for various dietary requirementshe room was well-appointed with all necessary amenities, and the Wi-Fi speed was exceptionalReport
i gotta say, this place blew me away! from the moment we walked in, it was like stepping into another world. the decor was so cool and unique, i couldn't stop taking pics for my insta. the staff were super friendly and always had great recommendations for things to do in the area. our room was spacious and comfy, with the most amazing view of the city skyline. and don't even get me started on the rooftop bar - the cocktails were to die for! ?? honestly, i didn't want to leave. if you're looking for a hotel that's more than just a place to sleep, this is it!Report
Great stay on Central Park. Terrific service with early check and the rooms and bathrooms are really head and shoulders above so many places in the area. They are doing some exterior work and there is scaffolding but the front desk made an effort to be sure we had a Central Park view from one window at least. The bar/lounge and open space is subtle and not huge but great. The club lounge was not open at the time of our stay. Our bedroom faced an interior courtyard but there were darkening shades and no discernible noise. Will definitely stay again.Report
We booked the Ritz Carlton Nomad because we flew to town to attend a concert at Madison Square Gardens. The Nomad is NOT what one expects when staying at a Ritz Carlton.||||We went to the Ritz Carlton Central Park. This is the quid essential Ritz Carlton that we all expect and deserve. The General Manager, Andrew C. Rogers, saw us looking in the lobby and greeted us (to obviously be helpful). Andrew Rogers engaged us in conversation, shared experiences, and made a real connection with us. It was impeccable service for a General Manager to take the time and greet “common guest” in the lobby. He offered us a tour of the hotel (which unfortunately we didn't have enough time) and asked if we needed anything. ||||Andrew C. Rogers exhibited qualities that elevate our experience to an extraordinary level. He was welcoming and warm (From the moment we arrived, the hotel manager greeted us with a genuine smile and warm welcome, making us feel immediately at home); highly attentive; professional and courteous; and an exceptional communicator. He went the extra mile that left a lasting impression with us.||||Whenever in N.Y. City again, the only place we will stay is Ritz Carlton Central Park.Report
We stayed here while my son was checking out some local colleges. We enjoyed the proximity to Central Park. The staff at this hotel make you feel welcome in NYC. They are all so friendly, from the bellmen to the waitstaff in the restaurant to the housekeeping ladies that came to tidy up our room. We especially enjoyed speaking with Haque in the restaurant! The rooms are a bit older, but they are well maintained and comfortable. The shower heads in the showers could use an update, but that would really be my only complaint. We enjoyed our short stay.Report
We stayed here a couple years ago in decmeber 2022. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The lounge very relaxing and served great desserts and drinks. Our room looked over central park and was on the 20th floor and striked the perfect balance between modern luxury and old school new york. A cake and handwriten ard was wating for us when we arrived as i was celebrating my birthday. Other facilites like the club lounge, fitness area and spa seemed quite good|. |Service was very good, but not perfect. Most staff member kindly greeted me and went above and beyond in every way, HOWEVER beware that the front desk can be grouchy and really do not seem to care for the guests AT ALL. They where not actively bad but very cold and sterile and not apoligetic even one bit when our key card stopped working. Doormen where nice, but did not help us with our luggage AT ALL, as they were too focused on the people arriving in the 500,000 dollar car that they had no time for all the other "peasants" staying at the hotel.||Very memorable experience and want to give this place another chance to shine in terms of service. Will be back.Report
Stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago and had a lackluster experience service wise. This time was different. I applied a suite night award to my stay and was surprised to be upgraded to a park view suite. The room was great with 2 bathrooms and very luxe. View was nice too. Service wise, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I arrived early, checked my bag, and a friend and I had a long lunch at the bar. Service was terrific!! The bartender took great care of us and the food was great. About an hour after getting to my room a knock at the door resulted in a welcome amenity. The housekeeper did a great job with turndown service and they’re very stealth. They come and go and you never lay eyes on them. Calls for ice were prompt. Front desk associates very friendly, acknowledged my elite status, and eager to please, as was everyone I encountered. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I’ll be back!! Thanks Ritz Carlton!Report
I traveled to NY as I often do for business and spent the first half of my stay with another hotel. I wanted to spend the weekend treating myself to a hint of luxury so after much consideration landed on the Ritz Carton. I had never stayed at this property before although I've stayed at other Ritz's globally.||First, I was thrilled that they honored my suite night request, which is so rare that I never expect it. As a loyal Bonvoy member for years, this was a special treat and why I work so hard to be loyal to the brand. I was upgraded to a Park View Suite. How magical was this perfect room? I've stayed at many luxury hotels around the world but is one my favorite experiences ever. This room is befitting of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. It is huge, beautifully appointed, luxurious and has a tremendous view. It is bright and airy and was a wonderful refuge in which to escape the heat. ||The other best part of the stay is the remarkably attentive staff. Everyone is so warm and wonderful and helpful. They make you feel very valued as a guest They went out of their way to attend to my every need. Also, Manny at the bar is outstanding. He is a great conversationalist and gave great attention to me when I was being bothered by a pushy man at the bar. I could see that he was monitoring the situation and was ready to come to my rescue if needed, would not let me put my room number down on my check for safety and followed me out to make sure I was good. It wasn't necessary because I was fine, but I very much appreciated it!||I still have two more nights to enjoy here at this luxury oasis and I'm savoring every minute. The only bad part about my stay at the Ritz Carlton Central Park is that it's ruined me for all other New York hotels. So i guess I'll have to return!Report
Right on the park. Outstanding service from check in to departure. Club level is worth the extra fees. Food is great and staffed by warm and friendly people. Regular rooms are large and well equipped. Third time at this hotel--my go to place for NYCReport
The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park is an award-winning luxury hotel located in Manhattan which pretty well sets the bar by which hotels in the area are measured. Located within an easy walk of Fifth Avenue, Broadway, Rockefeller Center and Lincoln Center… The Ritz is positioned perfectly for the traveler ready to explore the Midtown Manhattan experience.
The Ritz is long been known for elegance and luxury, and for pampering the clientele. Linens are made of 400 threadcount French sateen, bedding includes feather duvets and a choice of seven different types of pillows, oversized marble bathrooms are the norm, and of course these are merely the tip of the iceberg. Then of course there's the Ritz-Carlton spa, a restorative oasis that allows guests to pamper and rejuvenate themselves, and the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, a peaceful retreat where guests may enjoy a light meal and cocktails while taking in a breathtaking view of New York's Central Park and Midtown Manhattan.
