Excellent stay, gave a lovely upgrade to a city view, and welcomed with a nice bag of snacks. Very attentive staff and really nice space / atmosphere, with a very central location. Definitely one of my favorite hotels in Boston.Report

Very classy place. Not a snobby as I expected. Super friendly and helpful staff. Decor is amazing not overdone. Spacious, contemporary style. Each room has plenty of space with a great view. The location is unbeatable, shops, bars, restaurants and everything in between us all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.Report

We enjoyed a family weekend and yes while a premium vs other hotels the Ritz will be our regular location going forward.Report
Very little travel since Covid but we felt safe in the lobby and room for a college family weekend. There was a sign to manage occupants in the elevator to only 2 people or a family. Masks were on all expect when eating or drinking.
The review is not for the facility but more for the management. The staff made us feel like we were on a Disney cruise. Everyone from the valet, bellman, front-desk, concierge, housekeeping, bar attendants and even the residents that were mingling in the lobby bar. I assume the residents were not trained ?? but I am sure the training of the staff was a draw for the residents to make a long-term investment in the facility.
Beautiful city and complimented with a beautiful facility and staff. Next time you visit Boston compare your rate to the Ritz. Then book the premium and share your review. It will be a fond memory.
Once the Ritz-Boston knew there was a birthday we entered our room to balloons and some treats!!!

Room was very average. Lobby was below average. No flowers. Nothing special at all. No free coffee in the morning. No free WiFi. For $950 a night I expected way more. Stay at the Four Seasons or the Taj.Report
