As former New Yorkers, my wife and I initially had trouble finding a good artisan deli once we moved to Charleston. Charleston obviously has great sandwich shops, but none of them have the authentic and Italian-inspired flavors that you would find in NYC. Thankfully, Anthony opened up The Pass and it has been our favorite spot ever since.

Every Sunday, my wife and I order the Cacio e Pepe (add prosciutto!) and the Such a Nice Italian Boy and love every single bite. Anthony has an eye for detail and makes sure every single sandwich is made perfectly. Each sandwich comes with a unique variety of flavors and is consistently delicious every time you order. Also, did I mention that The Pass has a wide selection of wines? Some of our favorite organic wines are sold here and we love pairing it with our sandwiches.

All in all, we are so grateful that Anthony started The Pass and that we are still able to enjoy the artisan deli experience that we initially discovered in NYC.

WoW what a little neighbourhood gem! Stopped in to get some cheese to have a night at home with wine and decided to get a take out charcuterie platter. Delicious cheese, meats, jam and olives. The service was great and the value for the quality of goods was exceptional!

The experience here was phenomenal. Great customer service, boutique yet classic atmosphere, and the sandwich I had was incredible - the Cacio e Pepe. You can tell they use quality - and I mean quality - ingredients. I don't live in Charleston, but if I did, I would be here every week. Thanks for the amazing lunch!

I seriously can't say enough good things about this place. They have, hands down, the BEST sandwiches in the city! The Italian, "Such a Nice Italian Boy", is absolutely incredible. Last week we had 6 people for the "Chefs Table" dinner, which is a private dinner with EIGHT courses of some of the most delicious and expertly crafted dishes you'll ever have in your life. We loved the private and casual atmosphere as well as the unique and rare wine choices too. We'll definitely be back!

We had a company outing at The Pass for their Chef's Table Dinner and it was an amazing experience. The personalized experience from Laura and Chef Anthony, along with the amazing food and atmosphere, made the night perfect for our company. We are all planning on going back for another round soon!

Amazing food! Sandwiches were some of the best we have ever had! Cutest place just off King Street. Hidden gem. Go here and avoid crazy tourist lines and mediocre food. So glad we stopped in.

Went with a group of 8 to the chefs table/menu dinner option. Absolutely blown away by the 7 course meal and even more shocked at affordable price. They have a vast wine selection as well as some tasty dry goods for purchase. We made another reservation before leaving. Chef is very informative and it is truly a one of kind intimate culinary experience. Can't wait to go back. Bring on the orange wine!
