I would highly recommend Charlton Kennels. I was specifically looking for a place that had individual runs and individual walks- no group play time where there’s a risk of my older dog being injured or becoming sick. This place is clean, friendly and the staff are truly “dog people”- they just get it.Report
During one stay the staff noticed something was off with her behavior and called and kept me updated. Turns out what I thought to be “getting older” was a kidney infection, and thanks to their heads up I was able to get her in quickly and back to her normal self.

Very clean boarding facility. Friendly staff members. Offer extras treats, extra exercise and bathing by request at additional costs. My dog seemed happy and healthy when I went to pick him up. They followed my requests for food and treats and walks.Report
I wish there was some group dog playtime. The dogs are leashed and exercised individually. My dog is very social and I wished they offered that group service. However, I understand there is some liability to that type of social interaction. Otherwise, easy in, easy out. I felt comfortable and my dog was happy. Thank you for caring for my dog while I was away.

My dog can be sassy, especially when he gets pet. He’s a 120lb super fit Rottweiler so sassy can be bad. The staff at this kennel respected his boundaries and he did great with them.Report
On top of that, my boy got sick during the stay. I lost my phone during my trip but they still got a hold of me and let me know what was up. They took care of him and fixed the problem AND communicated with me despite me making that difficult.
1000% recommend this kennel. I had to use them as a backup in an emergency but they’re now going to be my first choice.
