It is true that sometimes you have to wait along time in waiting room to see Dr. Patari past your appointment time. However I was dealing with wrist pain for 3 years (tear in TFCC, missing cartilage, bone spur and arthritis)

I had gone to doctors at Barrington ortho , Core orthopedic and others besides Rush and Northwestern Hospitals. None of them could help me or have any answers besides giving me cortisone injections that did not help. They didn't seem to care that I could not use my wrist/ hand/arm without terrible pain and weakness.

I would have to quit my job that required me to use my hands. Dr. Patari was the only one that gave me hope and did surgery when I was expecting he would be like the rest and just want to give me a cortisone injection. No one mentioned any kind of surgery that he performed. I now have no pain and can fully use my wrist/ hand/ arm. I think of him and thank him everytime I can use my wrist as I could not before.

Wonderful care - all the staff too Being an older person and in pain you feel very vulnerable. I completely felt at ease within minutes of talking to Dr. Suchy and he asked pointed questions about my problem without being invasive. He also listened to me which I have found to be a problem with other doctors in the past. His recommendations and plan for a resolution definitely fitted my capabilities. Both visits were very successful. I'm still under his care for now. Happy Face.

I have also had a problem that gave me a lot of pain so I had an appointment with Dr. Komnick. Again very relaxing and I felt much more comfortable when I left. I have follow ups with both Dr's and don't feel anxious at all.

Wonderful care - all the staff too. Caring, concerned, calming, very respectful. Also everyone in physical therapy has been wonderful.

For some odd reason his other office and his attitude at that office is better. I walk in for my appointment they said I couldn’t see the doctor until I paid my balance of $500+. I kept asking for a history of the balance and they said somebody is getting the paper work. I paid it and saw the doctor. That experience comes later. When I get home from the office I look at the paper work and they made me pay from visits when I was 14 years old. I was a minor and not responsible for my parents medical debts. I knew something was up when they couldn’t get me the paperwork until after my appointment. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER return to this office or recommend it to my worst enemy.

Now the doctor interaction. I had a ruptured Achilles that ruptured TWICE under his care. He wanted to go the non surgical route. I came in after “recovery” saying since starting to walk lately my knee buckles and gives out while walking. Rudely asks what do I mean by “knee buckling and giving out.” I’m not sure exactly how I can explain that to you, but thanks for the one month of physical therapy. I miss the old doctor that was there when I was younger.

Once again sorry my parents didn’t pay their medical bills, but I appreciate you coming after me years later. Should have went to my credit card company for my money back or sued but they aren’t worth the energy.

Very bad experience. We saw Dr Komnick for my daughter’s shoulder pain. He entered the room without knocking the door. He even didn’t say hi or introduce himself. He directly asked the reason for our visit. He was very harsh on my daughter while testing her ROM and she was already in pain. He treated my 18 year old daughter like a child . He needs to reevaluate his professional manners and patient relationship. I would not recommend him to anyone. I am rating for this specific doctor and maybe other doctors treat the patients humanly!

I saw Dr. Theodore Suchy, D.O and he is the worst doctor I have ever meet. If you can call this guy a doctor anymore.

Hi Steve, I checked our internal database and we have no record of Steve Carbonelli in our system. Perhaps you went to Amita in Carol Stream and a patient there. If I am wrong on this would you please contact me at (847) 884-7771 as I would like to know what your experience was here. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Chris L.

Best decision I made when I chose Dr Suchy as my doctor/surgeon. He has a great bedside manner and is an all around wonderful man. My total knee replacement was a great experience and if or when I would need my left knee done, I will go back to him. He is one doctor who you can trust with whatever surgery you need done. I also wantoo give a shout out to Kristina who took care of all scheduling and giving me all the information I needed to start my journey for my surgery.

This place is dirty- patient room, front desk and neighboring physical therapy center. The front staff is rude for some reason. Dr. Lipnick should go back to medical school. They try HARD to get you to their physical therapy clinic across the hall, which had old dishes scattered throughout. Find another place to go. Disgusting, lazy and uncaring group.

Terrible experience. Left in worse pain than when I went in and was referred hours away. Because its possible for me to travel, with broken bones......unfortunately this hospital was a huge disappointment.
