Add ReviewIn keeping with its historic surroundings, The Annapolis Inn was once the home of Thomas Jefferson's personal physician while Jefferson lived in Annapolis. Erected in 1762 the house and land were still part of England. The United States was yet to be established, and Marie Antoinette was yet to become the Queen of France. The Inn still displays the original aristocratic elegance that it possessed with spacious entertainment rooms and bedrooms, ornate gold-leaf plaster crown moldings, marble fireplaces and southern pine floors. The Inn is furnished with a blend of 18th Century furnishings from around the world accented with ten custom-made Swarovski crystal chandeliers and sconces, English tapestries, hand make oriental rugs and 100% Italian linens. Our custom designed baths have a look of rustic elegant charm with combinations of tumbled, honed and polished marbles, heated marble floors, towel warmers, massage therapy tubs, showers, and bidets.
