The American Times brings together emerging market businesses, investors and organizations with United States investors through the American Times Country Promotional and Investment magazine. We strive to offer you the best available information through deep network connections in developing economies.
We assist the US investor in determining market opportunities by acting as their first course of due diligence prior to entering the market. The Times is your counterpart in locating the best opportunities available before the general population is aware. We are your legal inside informant.
When we enter a market we make sure that we have a high probability of success in what we do via two full weeks of research. Upon arrival the directive is to meet with governmental officials to determine what policies, framework and business legislation are in place to facilitate business in their country followed by an assessment of feasible sectors represented in the country. Finally, we begin our meetings with foreign companies, expats, local businesses, and organizations from the US (USAID, Millenium Challenge Corporation, US Embassy) to the local and international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank - IFC, EC and foreign embassies.
The purpose behind these varied meetings is because we want a full-circle perspective to be represented in the report. Combating inherent bias and getting to the root of existent opportunities.
