The owner is Scott Loewenstine and he is a serial con artist. He picked up 35 (and counting) complaints at the better business bureau in the past year. He sent them a letter saying he was out of business on 8/5/2011. On 8/10/2011 BBB shows that they opened a file for "the duct guy". He's trying to change the name to avoid the press he's getting (see the Columbus Dispatch Article on 8/7/2011). He no longer uses his home address, but picked up an address just a few miles away on Morse Rd.Report

We contacted this co. to get a $25.95 duct cleaning. They came in and tested for mold and (of course) found it which is improbable in a ranch with no water issues, but my elderly mother bought the "result" because of the word "mold". She was charged almost $2000, of which was charged up front and they installed a UV light in the system of which they had to remove the filters in order to get it in. When we told them this was unacceptable (we wanted to use the furnace WITH the filters), they admitted it was not the proper light and they would issue a refund. The work was done in April and in July, we are still waiting for a refund. No return calls. We even told them we would get an attorney involved if they did not refund the money and they still have not called back. 3 weeks later, we are still waiting for a call. We called the Attorney General's office and are hoping for a refund for an incorrect light that was installed for a "mold" issue that probably did not even exist in the first place. I think their equipment is "rigged" and reads "mold" every time. I believe this company is a SCAM!!Report
