TM sold us a 2016 Jeep Cherokee (145k miles) for $15,000. Drove it 4 times and car stopped working. Took it to a local dealer in Lander WY for repair. Lander dealer tried several things but car kept having issues. Car spent 11 weeks in repair shop. Turns out it needs a new TRANSMISSION — would cost us another $12,000
Given extreme situation, we went back to TM to see if they could help. Spoke to GM. He looked up inspection report and said there were no notes regarding faulty transmission. He said he would not help us.
We are donating car to a charity in hopes that some good can come of this terrible situation.

This place really screwed us out of time and money. Our 18 outback has a completely glitching useless infotainment system that was part of a class action suit which they applied an extended warranty to. It won’t let us listen to music or have phone calls or well, anything. In order to see if they will cover us under this warranty, Subaru of America is making us go get diagnostics done. Well, we live 3 hours from the closest Subaru dealer and made an appointment at this one. We paid to stay in Jackson for Thursday night to get our car in early on Friday. So they called us around 4:30 saying they couldn’t look at it today. Real cool guys, thanks. Next time I’ll buy a Toyota.Report
