Everyone needs to check and see if they are being charged $10 per meal for meals being brought to their rooms! We have not seen a charge for it yet, but are being told they are going to charge $10 per meal if they have to bring it to their rooms. Please let me know if this is happening to you

My family and I have had a positive experience thus far here at TerraBella. From our initial meeting and tours, right up to moving in and getting settled. I want to highlight Jessica B for her consistent communication, answering every question in a timely manner leading up to and throughout the move-in process. Jessica was always available and compassionate during this sensitive time. I also want to express gratitude for Chris, maintenance director, for his patience and timely assistance throughout the move-in process. He was available and genuinely happy to assist with any request. Day to day, ALL STAFF have a smile on their face and greet you with friendly conversation and a willingness to help. My mother verbalized that she "feels safe here" and as family going through a challenging chapter in our lives, this is all I can ask for. Thank you.

My Mother was a resident of TerraBella, Southport, Memory Care, for a little over one year. Having had experience at other facilities, I can say TerraBella is in a class by itself. The facility is clean and well kept inside and outside. The Memory Care staff was so caring while she was there. I would highly recommend this facility to others looking for Memory Care for a loved one.

This is a beautiful community with a great team. They have many tenured team members such as their Executive Director Jennifer Angel who has been on the team for 15 years. Their maintenance Director is the best and has been there for about 15 years as well. It is such a beautiful community and the team is fantastic and caring. I have visited the community for years and it is a great place for seniors!

One of the hardest decisions you have to make is to find the right facility for your loved one.Boy did we hit the jackpot when Mom could no longer live on her own.She spent two and half years there and we could not have asked for a more caring staff than the Terra Bella crew. They treated my mom with respect, dignity and never once did we ever have to worry whether she was okay. We will be forever grateful to all who help make our experience first class. If you are considerating an assisted living facility Terra Bella should be at the top of your list. Chris and Patsy Pearson.

Our experience has been fantastic. The people are super friendly and very attentive to my mom. She loves all the people and the activities. She is very happy there.

So very disappointed in this facility. Did a tour and was told they could handle the care of our mother with no problem. Told she would be in excellent hands. Negligence and no communication from staff is what we got. Residents answering the phone, and staff not answering the phone when we were directed to call back. Head nurse Cindy unavailable and doesn’t return emergency calls. Food is not edible and served in takeout boxes. Staff is not knowledgeable and doesn’t know how to transfer a patient from wheelchair to bed, dropped them and lied about it. And never any communication of the incident to the family. Mother stopped eating and we were never contacted to either resolve the issue with different food options or given the option of a refund to bring her home. 2 nights of dinner left in her room and not eaten or put in the refrigerator causing her room to smell. See pics below.and another thing the glowing reviews are from staff members not actual people who have placed their family here for care. For the price you pay for respite care and/ or to be a resident, you are better off keeping your loved one at home and hiring an outside care team to come in. Do not send your loved one here.

Beautiful community with caring staff. I like that it is all one level and that the assisted living and memory care each have their own buildings with full kitchen, specialized programming, and dedicated staff.
