My husband bought a 2025 Doge Ram from Deshaun in Artesia. He has very great personality. Although he was new to the team he did a fantastic job. He did everything in his power to help and get answers to our questions.

The worst service you could imagine. I live in Carlsbad and took my truck to Artesia thinking they might do things better—at least a little better than in Carlsbad and Hobbs, which are among the worst Dodge dealers in the area. My truck broke down due to a transmission issue, and I called to see if they could take it in since a year earlier they had repaired the transfer case, which was still under warranty. They told me yes, to bring it in, that of course the warranty would cover it.

They never called me to ask questions or give me updates about my truck until three weeks later, when I finally called myself. That’s when Ms. Kayla Brown told me they would have to charge me for labor and parts because my transmission was no good. I told her, first of all, they should have called me to ask for authorization. If they already saw that the transfer case—what I had under warranty for labor and parts—was not the problem and it was something else, at least have the courtesy to call and ask if I agreed for them to dig deeper and if I was okay with the charges.

Instead, they did the opposite. They took apart all the parts only to tell me I already owed 5 hours of labor, and that they charge $190 per hour. Since I needed to take my truck to another shop where they actually know how to do things right, I obviously had to pay the $1,000 for services I never agreed to.

Finally, I made my transaction using Sunbit, an agency to finance automotive services. The pirates at Tate Branch Artesia charged me $113.87 just because they felt like it. My loan with Sunbit required a $113.87 down payment, which I paid to them, but they took advantage and charged me an additional $113.87. When you call them, they just say they’ll call you back, which never happens. Then you call again, and conveniently nobody is available—not Crystal, not Kayla, not any of the managers.

First and last time I ever set foot in Tate Branch Artesia.
