Just wanted to thank Rick Simon’s on doing the tear down & replacement of my trans & clutch on my ‘16 Impreza I’m sure it wasn’t fun lol … but it drives a lot better than when I got it, so thank you Rick!

My wife and I went to Tacoma Subaru after seeing an advertisement on Marketplace for a 2025 Touring Forester, posted by salesperson Charles Lama. Upon arriving, we initially delt with salesperson TR because Charles was not available. TR did great and just couldn't get the deal we were looking for thru the sales manager. We actually returned a couple of days later willing to compromise on their selling price by meeting in the middle. We met with Charles who took our new proposal to the sales manager who signed off on it. Charles and TR are really nice people to work with, they are very knowledgeable, personable and we appreciated their efforts to get us the car we wanted.During the actual purchase and signing of the documents, we didn't appreciate the pressure from the finance manager to sign up for the different protection packages for the car. The best package raised the monthly payment by almost $50 a month. After much discussion, we finally had to tell him that we were not interested in any extended protection plan. There was a definite change in his demeanor. We did get through it and are very happy with the car and the purchase.

My first new car from there was in 1977, again in 2011, again a few years later, then this is my fourth car. The three previous visits were pleasant. The last visit was very unpleasant. Deciding to buy a car creates anxiety as they are expensive so a pleasant experience is appreciated. Fast talking pressure is aggravating and makes it hard to process and proceed or even want to continue. I was asked innumerable times by the manager to consider a credit union rather than USAA after explicitly telling several times I was not going to. I do not want to rate the company as low as this was a first experience. But I do not want to go back. Good luck.

Great experience!I bought a certified pre-owned Ascent, and we were in and out of there in 2.5 hours, including test drive. Way less time than every other car-buying experience I've had.Will Kay was my salesman, and he did a great job explaining everything and walking us through the process and options. Very nice guy, and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions.
