Food is great, portions are large, prices are amazing. This is in the town of Surry, Virginia which is across the James River from Williamsburg. A great getaway from the tourists traps in Williamsburg. It's a very southern style homey little restaurant tucked away in the town and the waitresses are so genuine and nice. They serve apple and banana fritters for dessert which I'd never heard of before so we got one of each. Delicious! They speciality is their peanut soup and peanut raisen pie which we also tried. Although it sounds odd, remarkably flavorful and I'd order both again. You'll be pleasantly surprised by this little place and it doesn't break the bank to eat there.
