Add ReviewThis was a nightmare experience! We had our entire pool, pool deck, and patio's (front and backyards) resurfaced. The pool folks were fantastic. Sundek, however, wasn't even close! Our front yard patio (dark brown) was oversprayed (on our foundation, flower beds, etc) but that wasn't the worst part. They added a completely different, unsuitable joint compound color (Beige joint compound on dark brown porch). When I pointed out how horrible it looked, the manager, Orlando, told us it "looked great" and Sundek didn't have a color that would match the dark patio paint. Knowing this was a farce, I contacted the headquarters in California and I was told the complete opposite. Lo and behold, Orlando just didn't want to order the correct color joint compound (he eventually did when we continued to complain and refused payment). The back yard joints had air bubbles that Orlando claimed "never happened before". To make matters worse, my Wife left several messages for the owner, Michael Akins (who also owns Ocean Quest Pools), who never returned a call. After a lot of complaining and refusal of payment until the job was done right, they fixed everything to our satisfaction (although not entirely; we STILL have air bubbles!). No one spending this kind of money should have to put up with sloppy work, deceit, and a lack of care from the people you hire to perform a job/service. Do yourself a favor and find another REPUTABLE company.Report
