Place is ok. Not great for trading in random silver coins. The guy at the New York store read me as a novice and undercut me on some coins that should have been quoted higher without even thinking about it. But hey it’s the coin biz I guess?

He automatically looked at me and my skin and didn't even want to deal with me brushing off my merchandise after I had it graded and authentication before I arrived to location even called it counterfeit...what a disgusting place as a person of color to go to..

It was a very good experience I went to 2 other dealers and they gave me the best price I will being going back in the future it's sad that I even have to say this as a person of color I did not once feel that I was not being treated like every one else or I was not important I read the reviews and some people were saying they treat people of color differently this not true do let negative reviews deter you go see for your self.

I walked into Stack’s last week off the street and it was a wonderful experience.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
They were beyond honest, even offered me way more than I ever expected.
Friendly and honest this place is the very best.

Today I had the pleasure to work with James McCartney in the NYC office.
He was personable, informed and informative and thoroughly scrupulous.

He had sent me quotes earlier in the day on gold coins I was selling. Well, the spot price went up $12 from the time he gave me quotes and when I was there, he adjusted the prices he was paying accordingly.

He also gave me clear advice about when I should use their auctions vs selling to them directly.

I will definitely be doing more business with them again shortly.
