Add ReviewWe love it but just wish setting up appointments were made easier. Perhaps even an online option to set up appointments. The last few times has been a hit or miss trying to set up both my kids 6 months cleaning appointments. I typically leave a message and won't hear back for weeks. Also, our insurance only pays for one fluoride treatment once a year, it would be nice for them to track this so we aren't charged for a second treatment because we're just told it was added as part of the cleaning. Besides these two things, our kids usually love it there.Report
Wonderful staff! They are so great and made my two kids' first trip to the dentist an awesome experience. So understanding, too, when kiddos don't want to necessarily cooperate. My kids already want to go back lol!Report
Highly recommend Sprouts in Hugo! The staff are very friendly and great to work with. They made a comfortable, and amazing experience for my two little kiddos. They took the time to explain everything step by step to the kids as they were in the chair. They spoke directly to the kids and asked them important questions instead of just asking me, which made both kids not only feel special, but helping them with confidence and independence as well. We have found our forever Dentist! Thank you for the wonderful experience!Report
Dr. Kurysh and her team were amazing, they were kind, thorough, the office is fun and extremely clean. My kids LOVE going to the dentist now!Report
Dr. Meredith does excellent work as she worked on my sons front teeth and molars at children's hospital. She pays attention to detail and did her best to save teeth as she could. The facility is clean and welcoming! BE AWARE the dental office was not aware of how Children's hospital bills and we paid almost 10k for the surgery and dental work which was way more than we were aware. The hospital made close to 5k off doctor Meredith's work on top of anesthesia cost, dental bill, and room fee. If you have a high deductible health plan then I suggest negotiating with Dr.Meredith about what work can be done outside of the hospital such as Sealant, fluoride, or even tooth extraction. Given it's safe for the child. However, in our case she was unwilling to try anything in the dental office. My son had an infection and facial swelling while waiting for his surgery date (no one at fault) and I had to take him to another dental clinic to do an extraction right away. Dr. Meredith claims Her notes say my son was "crying" and not sitting well but we actually were complimented by the dental hygienist and other dentist by how well he sits and opens wide. He still is happy to go to the dentist and I thank this clinic and the other. Overall, ask for second opinions and get an estimate before surgery. I do recommend. Dr. Meredith if your child needs dental surgery as she does do excellent work.Report

Kids. However……. The front desk secretary is down right mean and horrible . Just rude. She has caused my family to find another dentist. We have GREAT coverage our insurance is on point. Last few times she rudely told me I owed 100s of dollars . I knew it wasn't my twenty percent so called insurance while there . Out of the 460 she was demanding quiet Rudely to me my insurance said absolutely not you owe 80. Omg 80! Out of 460! What if I would of not checked.? I wouldn't of known I only owed 80. She point blank told me it was already sent to insurance and I owed 460 out of pocket. Warning please if you have insurance do your math before you hand her money. I did try to go back to finish off my four year olds apt and she was horrible to me because of the call out . She made me feel like a second class citizen. And so not helpful just plain rude . Really think before you trust this place with you $ and
Time . I am devastated that people like her are left in charge and running a place that should be kid friendly and helpful to parents as dentist trips are hard enough.Re: If I could leave zero sta ... Sprouts Pediatric Dentistry replied on Monday, August 9th 2021At Sprouts Pediatric Dentistry, we strive to not only provide the best care possible to our patients, but also to ensure that their families feel welcome and fully apprised of treatment options for their children. We are very disappointed to receive this review from the parent of some of our long-time patients. Quite simply, the reviewer's statements are false. This reviewer and his/her family have been fully aware of Sprouts Pediatric Dentistry's billing and payment processes (as it has not changed the entire time that his/her children have been patients with our practice), which are standardized across dental and pediatric dental offices across the state. When a family member of this reviewer refused to follow the payment processes to which they had previously agreed, that individual then treated our team members with great disrespect. We certainly understand and appreciate that the pediatric care of a child can be stressful and emotional, but the behavior directed toward our team was entirely inappropriate and unwarranted. Our team ultimately worked with this reviewer to ensure the necessary dental care was provided and gave the family additional time with which to comply with Sprouts Pediatric Dentistry's payment protocols. Notwithstanding the fact that our team respectfully worked with this family, we received this review that has no basis in fact. As always, Sprouts Pediatric Dentistry is happy to further discuss any concerns.
