Room smelled like cigarettes, toilet was not cleaned very well.
But I the stuff in the morning is very nice and welcoming

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The shower was not good. There was mold buildup in the corners and within 45 seconds the water was backing up. I’m easy to please but cleanliness is very important to me and the shower was not to standard. It just looks old from top to bottom.

My only compaint about this place is there is nowhere to sit outside. No chairs, benches, tables, nothing. There are 2 lounge chairs outside the pool but that's it. Other than that, it's a nice clean hotel with a modest free breakfast in the morning. Plenty of parking.

Just a heads up they sized down all their beds. When I showed up there was a last complaining about the king room she got not being a king size bed. Our room has two tiny beds so we got to cuddle real close with each other. Where you would typically have a single as a king they are now queens and where you would typically have two queens you now have two double beds. That's important if you are reserving for a group and need bed space. The breakfast is probably the 2nd worst I have had at any Marriott hotel.

I had never stayed at a SpringHill before this trip, but we booked this hotel because my brother found it for our trip, they're Bonvoy members, and it was close to Kentucky Kingdom. The second we walked into the hotel, we were happy to see its modern look, meet the friendly staff, and, upon seeing our room, how spacious and pleasant the accommodations are!

More than that, the room smelled AMAZING when we walked in. Whatever the cleaning staff uses to freshen rooms between guests is fantastic. It added a whole other level to the initial room entry.

Best of all, for us, is that the airport shuttle can drop you off right at the front entrance to Kentucky Kingdom, so we didn't have to worry about driving around the corner and paying for parking! Returning to the hotel was a simple call away.

Their fitness room is decently-equipped, with treadmills, other machines and weights, though the doctor's scale could stand to be replaced.

There were enough options available at breakfast for people who keep kosher, which was another plus.

Our kids really enjoyed the pool as well. I'd be quite happy to stay here again.
