TLDR: South Valley Dental is dishonest in their billing practices and when you try to call them on it they send you to collections!

The people who do the billing for this office are very dishonest! They give you a list of charges before you have a procedure done and have you sign a paper saying that you will pay the charges. I did so, trusting that they were being straightforward and honest. They told me that most insurance doesn't cover regional anesthesia for things like fillings because they (the insurance company) claim it is part of the main procedure, so they wanted me to pay that out of pocket. I went home and looked at my insurance information and my insurance does cover regional anesthesia. I even called my insurance company to verify that, using the exact anesthesia code that was on the paperwork from the dentist's office. So I paid my co-insurance amount for the anesthesia along with the co-insurance for the fillings I needed. Fast forward a month or so when I get my statement from the insurance, and South Valley didn't bill them for the anesthesia, sending me a bill for the full amount instead! So I rem
