If I can give ten stars on this review, i would. The service department at Gilroy Dodge/Jeep are an amazing group of guys! Knowledgeable, Respectful and Professional. Jason L. was my service rep and he went above and beyond for our vehicle. Repairs were done in a timely manner and the price was great. We won't be taking our vehicles anywhere else but Dodge and Jeep in Gilroy! They can be trusted!

I placed an order for a 2025 Ram truck that arrived on 12/30/24. The fleet manager called and said the truck was ready to be picked up. I told him I had plans for the New Year holiday and would be in for the truck on the 2nd. He told me he didn’t want to sound like a ‘sales guy’ but he offered to have all the paperwork printed and delivered to me with the truck to where ever I was. I said no, that I would sign on my own terms and that the truck could wait. He then asked if I wanted to purchase in 2025 for tax purposes. I answered no! I want to enjoy the holiday with my family and then deal with the purchase- the truck can wait.

I show up on 1/2/25 and I see the salesman who helped us place the order, Freddie. He has no idea why we are there, he doesn’t even know the truck arrived. After 30 minutes we finally walk out to the shop area and there is the truck. Still dusty and with delivery stickers on. He doesn’t have the key to unlock it and says the truck hasn’t been received or tested. He gave us a story of a mixed up vin # which explained his lack of knowledge that vehicle was even there. We left and we were told we could go by on Friday 1/3/25 to pick it up.

Long story short: the truck was not ready on 1/3/25. The vehicle arrived with a defective part that was “rushed” and confirmed would arrive on 1/6/25. To only not arrive until 1/10/25 and what they told me was a simple “5 minute fix” took them all day, and who knows if it got fixed that day or not because the vehicle wasn’t ready by 5pm.

I cancelled the purchase at this point and asked for my hold deposit back. When I spoke with the fleet manager over the phone, I didn’t receive an apology or anything and at the end of the conversation he said “you don’t have to come to the dealership we will mail you your check”. 1 1/2 months later: still no check. No one at the dealership answers the phone or calls back: business office, fleet manager, finance manager. The one time I did manage to speak with the fleet manager he said the check was cut but they needed to confirm that they had enough money to honor the check so that I would receive it, but I had to wait for others to get paid too. I didn’t know what to say since I felt shame for him, so I asked, when will that be? He said he would confirm and call me right back (apparently he was with another customer) and I haven’t heard from him since. Now I have to waste even more time with these clowns and figure out a way to get my money back. I will be reporting them to the BBB and DMV.

Overall experience: 0 out of 5 stars.
Go somewhere else where people have respect for you, your time, and your money.

I should have bought my car here. Lesson learned but I'm thankful the staff helped me out and fixed my car. From the sales staff to the service staff and the techs. You are all so AMAZING!

Great experience! Excellent customer service and care for the vehicle. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service as well, will definitely continue to do business with this location.
