Sonesta Irvine - Orange County Airport

The restaurant is Not opened, which we did not know otherwise we would not have booked there. Bed and room were fine and employees are nice and helpful. The gate and parking are a real pain not at all convenient.

The front desk told me they only have rooms available up to the 3rd floor due to renovations. However I saw guest going up to 5th and 6th. I didn't mind my room however it did bother me that they felt like that had to lie.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that your request was not honored for a higher floor. During our renovation, the lower floors are more desirable, and I'm sure that our Guest Service Agent meant to convene this when he assigned your room. I am sincerely sorry that this did not happen. I will immediately look into correcting these issues to better provide our guests. We hope you accept our apologies and give us another opportunity to welcome you back for a more pleasant stay once the hotel's transformation is completed. Regards Bill

Positive: Nice play to stay at Negative: Too much noise from the hallway

Had a flat, staff was more than accommodating, helped me clear a path for AAA and I was back on the road.

Positive: The hotel was being remodeled so some of it was new. The staff was very good. Negative: I do not know what it is, I might be allergic to the detergent, but the next day i woke up and had all kinds of red dots on body. They kind of itched. I did not see any kind of bugs so I do not think it was that, bit I did see a large stain on the matress
