Absolutely horrible business practices!
I'm from NV and was in talking with a salesman Angel G. On a used truck they had on the lot. It progressed to a Sunday afternoon that I expressed my further desire to purchase the truck. I told him that I was 7.5 hrs away and that Tuesday was the fastest I could get there. I then asked if I could put a deposit down to retain the truck until that day. He said that that was not an option. But he then told me that if we scheduled an appointment for that Tuesday afternoon, the keys would be pulled and the truck held until our 2:30 Apointment. Everything was arranged and agreed upon for that Apointment. I hit the road early Tuesday morning. While 3/4 of the way with a non refundable hotel booked for the night in bend. I text angel and let him know the trip was going well. He then informed me that the truck was sold the day before on his day off. How the he'll is any of this ok!. You make agreements, you stand by them! Especially when so much time, energy and money is involved. After this information was given to me. He then said that they have other vehicles I could look at. Me thinking 'is this a joke?' .
I refuse to deal with anyone or business that conducts in this manner. Beware of the lowlife salesman!

Great experience buying with Lithia. At the end of the day I know they’re a business and their job is to make money but I felt the process was fair and honest. There’s a lot more information that car buyers have now and Lithia seems to have adapted their tactics to reflect this. I appreciated not getting any of the “good cop bad cop” act that other dealers town are still doing. Logan was great to work with and I would definitely go to Lithia again in the future.
