STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS!!
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this firm.

My case involved significant, well-documented injuries, including five herniated discs, shoulder injuries, a concussion, and related pain, limitations, and disruption to my daily life. These were not minor complaints—they were medically documented injuries that materially affected my health and functioning.

Despite this, my case was handled with what felt like minimal urgency and effort. Communication was inconsistent, follow-through was weak, and I was often left to initiate contact myself. This felt like a lack of empathy from this firm. When I did reach out, responses were delayed or vague along with how rude my case manager was throughout the process, I have email conversations where she only showed any kind of empathy when I voiced my disapproval and how I would leave the review I am leaving now.

What ultimately solidified my dissatisfaction was the outcome relative to the circumstances. The policy limits for my case were $250,000, yet the firm secured approximately 35,000 and I only got 1/3 of that. I basically paid them 1/3 of my check to write a letter to the insurance company. In my opinion, this result does not reflect the seriousness of my injuries or the available coverage, and it raised serious concerns about how aggressively my case was pursued. They claim to be a Christian based law firm that actually cares about clients but clearly that’s just a statement to get more clients.

I understand that no legal result is guaranteed. However, clients are entitled to clear communication, realistic expectation-setting, and strong advocacy—especially when injuries are severe. I did not feel adequately represented or prioritized. Months later and it still pains me what I had to go through for the mediocre results I had.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm to anyone dealing with any serious personal injuries who expects proactive case management and maximum effort. There are thousands of law firms across the greater Houston area please don’t make the same mistake I made. The most disappointing part of this experience is the timing of their communication. Not once during my case—or even immediately after—did an attorney reach out to check on my well-being or progress. However, as soon as I posted a negative review, an attorney contacted me immediately—not to apologize, but to offer a 'lunch bribe' in exchange for removing my feedback. Don’t expect clients to care about your firm when you clearly don't care about them.

Simmons and Feltcher, P.C. Frequently Asked Questions

Our Houston personal injury attorneys work on a contingency fee basis. This means that you pay only if we win your case. Upon making a recovery, you will be responsible for reimbursing expenses and paying a percentage of the total recovery as an attorney's fee.
When you try to handle your auto accident claim without hiring a car accident lawyer to fight for you, you face dealing with insurance adjusters and their lawyers who are both highly trained in devaluing your claim. Their goal is to save the insurance company money, not compensate you. You may get tricked into saying something in a recorded statement. You may also find them hard to reach. they know the longer they delay payment, the less likely you are to timely get the care you need.
On-the-job accidents or work injuries can have serious effects. If your employer fails to carry workers' compensation, it is always good to talk to a work injury lawyer about your rights. If your employer has worker's compensation, you cannot bring a separate civil claim against them unless they cause the accident via gross negligence--a very difficult standard to prove. However, you may have a civil claim if a 3rd party causes the injury.
