We used Silver Spoon over the weekend for our Quinceañera and their service exceeded our expectations, they promptly answered emails and phone calls previous to the event and were on schedule at the time they promised, will definetely use them again.
Audrey was very helpful with planning a happy hour menu! Set-up was quick and the food was a hit!Report
I recently had a graduation party catered by them. They were very responsive & listened to all my dietary restrictions (i'm gluten & lactose free). Wonderful service overall. Couldn't be happier & would use them again in a heartbeat!ReportRe: I recently had a graduati ... We used Silver Spoon to cater breakfast and dinner for our graduation party and informed them multiple times about the nut allergies in our house. Despite being reassured they would take them seriously, and their food would be safe to eat, dinner was delivered with a salad that had crushed walnuts on top and orzo pasta that had pine nuts pesto (which we were only told about after contacting to complain about the walnuts).Report
This could have been a fatal mistake on their part and we were lucky our nut-allergic son did not eat the food. Upon finding the allergens we promptly threw the food away and questioned the safety of the other dishes.
This celebratory event could have turned tragic in a heartbeat and I don't believe Silver Spoon understands the severity of the situation. We never received an explanation as to how something so dangerous could have happened, especially in today's day of food allergy awareness. We are truly disappointed because I know businesses can properly handle food allergies; this is not one of them.

The Food Was Incredible! A+ Food and Customer Service!!! We had a baby shower and everyone asked who the catering company was that provided the food. Delivery was on time, friendly, and professional.Report
They catered an event for the Women in the Building Industy this week and the appetizers were absolutely delicious. The chili basil beef kabobs were wonderful and the fruit and cheese platters were beautifully displayed and delicious.Report
Silver Spoon catered an all day corporate summit for us and it went off without a hitch! Lunch and a reception with food, beer, and wine was no problem for them. Huge shout-out to Liz and her team for a fantastic job. We will absolutely be catering through them again.Report
Our company has attended many events catered by Silver Spoon Caterers. The food is always great and Audrey and her team are very professional and efficient. The last event they catered was for The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce for hundreds of people and the food was great and unique. They did an awesome job at serving food to the guests and clearing the empties quickly.ReportRe: Our company has attended ... Silver Spoon Caterers replied on Wednesday, August 4th 2021Thank you Sam!
My company used SilverSpoon Catering for a digital marketing breakfast event we had at Reston Chamber. The food was excellent. They arrived early to set everything up and they helped keep the food area clean throughout the presentation. We got great reviews from our attendees. Highly recommend them for your corporate catering event.Report
Audrey was born in the Philippines and moved to California as a young girl. Her family opened a fine west coast restaurant, and Audrey's ambition was born. Swept away by the bustle and excitement of a busy kitchen, Audrey was equally enamored with the front end of the restaurant business. She vividly remembers seeing one specific dish - fried ice cream - and its mind-boggling presentation over an open flame as the moment she fell in love with the strange beauty of food. "I thought they were the smartest people in the world," she says, "and I wanted to do that." The desire to be her own boss combined with the innate pleasure in serving and feeding people fueled a lifelong desire to open her own restaurant. After attending Catholic University and working as a New York City accountant for three years, Audrey knew it was time to answer that calling. She moved here in 1997 and opened Silver Spoon Caterers.
