Sensible Car Rental

I rented a vehicle for a total of 3 weeks from Sensible Car Rentals on El Cajon Boulevard. The rental process was smooth and their rates very reasonable. Within about 2 weeks of renting my first vehicle it started running rough as if it might stall. The staff at Sensible responded by offering a replacement vehicle which I was allowed to pick up on the weekend when no staff were available to open the rental office. I was very grateful for that. I would be happy to rent from Sensible again should I be staying in the area.

This place is great. Enjoy coming here, the staff is nice, reliable and helpful. They made sure everything was good to go before I left. The prices were reasonable and within my budget. Will be going back here whenever I need a rental for the future.

I had rented their multiple cars for duration of approx 10 months straight, from Nov 23 to Aug 24. Although it’s their job to do their job, I would love to share one of many good experience with them. On 26th Dec early morning at 4am my car needed roadside assistance and it was a time people were celebrating Christmas or in deep sleep and there was hardly any towing company operating at the time due to Christmas or available ones were extremely expensive. The owner Ron came and rescued me. They are good and do sound sensible in terms of the rate they offer cars. Kudos to Senisible team. Yaya, Chris, Jinx, Ericka, Ron and their mechanical team. Thanks, it was good renting your cars. ???????? would recommend early comers to America and university students.

Just called this rental agency to get a rental for a week at least… gave me a price of 150 per week or lower because the radio doesn’t work in the car and then when they asked if I’m gonna be driving the car in San Diego I said yes I will just be going to work and sometimes I drive to Mexico In my personal vehicle, but I wouldn’t drive to Mexico In the rental if It was not OK… The lady then told me she was not gonna let me rent the car Because she Would not be able to know for sure if I took the car to Mexico or not.. I tried to explain to her that I have a rental currently and went to Mexico yesterday and left it on the San Diego side because I am not supposed to take it to Mexico and while I was midsentence, I got hung up on. This is how They treat people for being honest? I’m really not allowed to rent a car from them because I have Been to Mexico recently? What business is that of theirs as long as I’m not taking the car down there? How disrespectful that they’re going to deny me rental over something that never even happened and never would. I’m sure she’s not the only shady person working there and I am pretty sure she was going to pocket the money from the rental with the broken radio because they’re probably not supposed to be renting it out anyways.

Very high price to rent a vehicle for a day $300 man so look around fist for the best deals save money live better but they said you get the $300 back after 10dayd it's to cover any parking tickets quote who ever heard of a $300 parking ticket

Their one time payment portal is deceptive especially if you're paying with cash app. If you are paying any installment amount you will type in your amount, it will give total, and you click pay..like normal. No! Even after you type your amount they will still charge you your total. Beware!
