About Scott Amer, D.M.D.

Dr. Scott graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1980. Prior to studying at Penn Dental, he also attended U Penn as an undergraduate attaining his B.S. in biology and a minor in sociology. Desiring to further his education and his love of pediatrics, Dr. Scott finished a specialty degree at Columbia University and Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Scott went back to his hometown of Hewlett to open his office for children over 28 years ago. He has been in his current location for 12 years. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Scott has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. In his spare time Dr. Scott spends with his wife Yvon with whom they have raised 3 pediatric dental patients of their own (who are almost all out of the house.) On any given Sunday you may find Dr. Scott on the softball field....
