About Santa Fe Mexican Grill
Estanislao (â€œLaoâ€) Roman has been preparing Mexican cuisine since a child working in his father's kitchen. Lao was a chef of a top Mexican restaurant in Atlanta in the late 80's and 90's, but moved to Greenwood in 1995 to open Santa Fe.
Today, Lao and his family manage Santa Fe. Lao's father and mother still work in the restaurant, along with his wife, Aicia, and his only son, David.
All foods are prepared daily. Lao arrives early to cut vegetables and start a new pot of broth. He peels fresh avocados for their house-made guacamole and chops tomatoes for his special salsa. You'll only get the freshest ingredients and best tasting dishes at Santa Fe.
