The most honest dealership I have been to- ever. I had my vehicle at another dealership for a oil change, that dealership indicated I had leaking shock absorbers, a leaking front differential, need a wheel alignment, etc. ( I noted that there was no stains on my driveway or at wok where I park). I took the vehicle to Sand's - never told Sands about the other dealership. Turns out none of these items needed repair or attention.Report

Sands Ford Service Center of Red Hill had awful communication while working on my truck. They had me bring in my Truck for a transmission recall in which they didn't cover a rental. So, after 3 days I had called and found out that they were still waiting for the part. After 3 more days, I called again to check the status of my truck and was told one more day but got voice-mail telling me it was complete. Finally, the techs had nothing to say when I came in for the paperwork and it's the paperwork that tells me it's only partially complete. Why did I spend $1300 for a rental just for Sands Ford Service Center to babysit my truck? Take your Fords somewhere else for the countless recalls! I have two Fords with 6 recalls, it is ridiculous! Never buying a Ford again.ReportRe: Sands Ford Service Center ... Sands Ford of Red Hill replied on Friday, October 15th 2021Katy We are very sorry we let you down, but we appreciate your feedback. We should have done better communicating with you what the process is for this recall. Ford requires our dealership and all other dealerships for follow a very specific processes to perform recalls. In this situation, we are required to inspect the vehicle, perform diagnostics, take pictures and provide all of that information to Ford for their review. There are times when Ford requests more info or pictures to ensure it is repaired properly. Once Ford reviews that information they ship out the replacement part or parts. The process takes days to complete. We agree that this process is undesirable, but on the dealership level we cannot deviate from a recall process. Keep in mind the nature of a recall is for the manufacture to repair a component on the vehicle, at no charge, that either is an issue now or could be in the future. While is may be inconvenient it does avoid a problem in the future. Thank you for being our customer and we will look at our process to communicate this better in the future.
