Sam Gasaway Builders

I had the same experience with Sam Gasaway in early 2009 and reported such to the Georgia Board for Residential and General Contractors in late 2009. It turns out that he never took the licensing exam; the Board 'grandfathered' him. I've also reported him to the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.

We got Sam to cut us a deal on a full interior of house painting we're glad we did. Sam’s follow up and follow through were excellent. We had 4 rooms painted within 1 week of purchasing. Everything went and looks great. Sam was on time, super nice, explained everything, kept and left everything clean. We were very impressed.

Contracted with Sam for a kitchen remodel and waited months for him to begin work after paying 50% up front. After making demand calls, Sam finally had a sub install cabinets. They were of inferior quality. The sub stained and sealed the cabinets after they were installed. Our family had to stay in a hotel for three nights due to the odor in our home. The subs had stain all over our kitchen walls and the seal they used coated everything including clothing in our home.

Do not hire Sam Gasaway!!!do your research on anyone you hire!!! My mother hired him to put new cabinets in on June 21,2016...they finished today, 11/23/2016. he installed the wrong cabinet doors, poor craftsmanship on the work that was done. And he will threaten you,if you disagree with him. He doesn't deserve a star,he doesn't need to be in business!!!
