Hello Management,

This is probably the worst representation of the marriot brand I've ever experienced.

The room smelled like smoke not new considering the fire alarm was wrapped in a plastic bag. Unknown charges on my credit card when I paid for my booking online. Oh yeah and if you plan on using their Wifi they automatically charge your credit card too. The restaurant downstairs is mediocre and their rooms look like it's from the 1970s not to mention their TV looks like it's from 2001.

Please, do not stay here. If you think you're staying at a Marriott hotel... you're not. I am honestly flabbergasted at these good reviews. My hotel room was filthy. The toilet was dirty - they didn't even have toilet paper in the room. There were so many questionable stains on the carpet, along with crumbs and other mysterious things. So many broken things in the room. If we hadn't arrived at midnight and had no other options - I would have turned right around. I honestly would have preferred to sleep in my car.. too bad we flew and didn't have one. The only "positive" thing I could say is that the chlorine smell of the pool is so overwhelming and overpowering - maybe it killed all the germs that were airborne. Seriously - do not believe the reviews. Please take your money elsewhere.

Kristen, what you described does not sound like a typical stay at our hotel and we are shocked. We will be discussing your feedback further internally to ensure these areas are resolved promptly and our high standards are upheld at all times moving forward. Located close to NY City, this Marriott is affordable and clean. Plenty of parking in the well lit parking lot. Friendly staff welcomed me and gave me an overview of the local attractions. The restaurant/bar has great food and drinks, and there is a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance. I do plan on staying here again the next time I need to travel to NY City.
