Add ReviewVery nice experience. Communication was great. I was greeted quickly when I arrived and the process to purchase the car was simple and straight forward. Micah was great and I felt no pressure to purchase something other than what I came in for. I would highly recommend working with Micah and Kendall Subaru.Report
It was a really great experience. Pascal was amazing in making sure we got any and all the information we needed while buying our 2011 WRX.Report
Daryl was amazing she was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond if you’re looking to buy a new car I would recommend going through her!! She did great!!Report
I've thought long and hard about whether or not to write a review of Kendall's service department. I've decided to for a few reasons 1) my service experience has always been mixed and 2) my last experience left me frustrated to the point that I won't be back but feel like I should alert others.Report
August 2024 - I scheduled an oil change, tire rotation, and transmission flush (which I admit I have never done). My right rear tire had a plug after picking up a screw and has a very slow leak (worth noting). The service rep was beyond kind. While reviewing paperwork at check out, I let her know that my mileage was off. I had 141k miles on my car when I rolled in. It was noted as 134k. Her reply was "Oh." I also thought it was odd that everything was green on my paperwork. Not even an air filter was yellow. The car was fine over the next few months. Not great. I knew I would need a tune up.
February 2025 - I scheduled another oil change. I turned 146k miles on the way to the dealership. They were slammed which was fine. The previous customer service rep no longer had a desk there. This visit was relatively quick. The rep was kind. Again, the paperwork showed 134k miles (2 more miles than the Aug visit) and was lit up like a Christmas tree of services needed. I was a bit defensive immediately to see transmission fluid was dirty. I noted my August visit. They also pulled it up. I asked about the vast difference in brake pads and a few other items. They went to speak with the tech. I left saying that I'd probably return eventually for service. The more I thought about my experience, I decided against it. I don't fault the tech on my February visit. I imagine he's really thorough as some of those items needed done. However, the interaction left me angry. To some degree, I do question both the initial service and the paperwork on the second visit because I'm not sure which was correct. The tires, though, were never rotated in August as that slow leak needed air in the fall - same tire. Same location.
Here's where I want to praise an independent local shop. I immediately scheduled an appointment. I didn't provide the dealership name or paperwork initially. I gave them a summary of events and they asked if it was Kendall, then furthered that I was the third person in approximately two weeks to come in after a poor experience. They recommended working through 150k mile service albeit early (with exception to the oil change and air filters which I replaced on my own), and then review line by line my paperwork to see what was needed. The transmission fluid did not need to be completed and was deducted from my total. They let me know that my brakes were bad on the right rear not because of a seized caliper but because the bolt was not seated straight (and provided photos). I haven't used an independent shop since leaving middle America 15 years ago. I cannot stress the importance of finding one that's reputable & thorough. They take great pride in their work and offer it at a much more reasonable price than dealerships. My car runs better now than it did when I bought it 9 years ago. I do hope Kendall's service manager sees this & takes notes for their employees. Not only did the service department lose a customer, I highly doubt I'll return to the facility when the time comes to upgrade my old forester.

My husband and I bought 2 cars, 25 forester and 25 outback last week. We love Subaru, first time Subaru owners. Great customer service and good price with great interest rate. Thank you Dave and Tal.Report
I recently brought my Outback Wilderness to Kendall Subaru of Marysville for a routine service, which included an oil change and tire rotation, as well as a warranty issue. Kyrah, the service advisor, was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process.Report
Kyrah efficiently handled both the standard maintenance and the warranty issue, demonstrating a strong understanding of Subaru vehicles. I had previously experienced a tire rotation issue, which Kyrah also resolved to my complete satisfaction. Her expertise and attention to detail left me feeling very impressed and confident in the service provided.
I drove away feeling confident not only in the service I received but also in Kendall Subaru as a whole. From the initial purchase, facilitated by my terrific salesman, 'Guy,' to the ongoing maintenance handled by Kyrah, I'm extremely glad I chose Kendall Subaru of Marysville. They've consistently provided excellent service and built my trust in their team. Keep me going to I can keep exploring.
