Romano Chrysler Jeep

I will give one star for problem finally being resolved, but ZERO Stars for process and for customer service. Had unusual noise in Jeep. told that "we think it might need a wheel bearing replaced. Paperwork said problem solved, drove away, with 1/4 mile, same noise. back to dealership, rode with technician, who agreed, same noise. then told it needs a driveshaft. which fixed the problem.... when I asked if it really needed the bearing "of course". so why two items to fix one problem? cost of driveshaft was $1900.... (they did comp the $150 labor on this item)...this part was available OEM on internet for $1000, and at another dealer in Syracuse for $1500. when I asked about the price, I was told be service manager- "i don't set the price for parts". So, total repair form noise was about $3,000.
A few days later, I got a phone call from the dealership.....expressed my concern of extra work, poor management of original problem and cost...person was very interested, and said "i will raise issues with management, and someone will get back to you".....10 days later....no further contact.
Lots of issues here for both work performance, price gouging, and customer service......I can't recommend them as place to service your jeep.

(PS- this is also the dealership where my Jeep was broken into while being on the lot overnight after a prior service visit !!)

Great experience at Romano Jeep! . Will was super to deal with for my trade up , had the car ready the next morning . Couldn’t be happier

The wait to get an appointment was a bit lengthy, however the staff at Romano are extremely helpful and set the bar high for customer service!

Anthony from Romano Chrysler Jeep was fantastic from the moment we walked in. He answered all of our questions, he was patient and helped us get into our brand new Pacifica. I highly recommend Romano and all of the people we worked with. Thank you Anthony, Marc and John.
