I had a number of things done. I put in more than half a dozen outlets for the garage, patio and a dedicated outlet for a spa. I had them hard-wire for a backup emergency generator, install an interlock switch, and I installed a whole house surge protector.

Firstly, like others, they do charge to show up to quote. But unlike others, they credit that charge back to you in your final bill if you decide to use them. Very fair in my opinion.

These guys were exceptional. Before deciding on the equipment and method for some items, ie generator, surge protector and interlock switch, they walked me through all of my options and how they all function. This was especially important when deciding between an interlock switch vs a transfer switch. I elected to go with an interlock because of the better versatility. A transfer switch would be easier for my wife to operate if I weren't home, but it would limit what we could run off the generator. They didn't try to up-sell me to more expensive options that weren't necessary. They listened to my needs and objectives, explained how the various available options functioned, and then I decided on what I wanted.

I was doing a lot of stuff so it wasn't cheap, but the price was extremely fair. The work was scheduled promptly. The team showed up on time and were well prepared. I had some thoughts since their initial visit and quote, so I surprised them by asking to add an extra dedicated line to the patio on the install day. Their response was great and it was no problem for them whatsoever.

They showed up ready to work and were very courteous & respectful. They cleaned up any messes that were made as result of cutting drywall and such to run the new outlets.

Upon completion, they walked me through the completed work and explained how some items functioned, like the interlock switch and surge protector. They even gave me advice/input on other things that I planned to do myself down the road.

The whole process was a great experience. I will absolutely use these guys again for any electric work I have in the future.

Rockwall Electric did not disappoint! They were professional, on time, and efficient! Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work!

After calling and scheduling our service call for a breaker that was tripping frequently, we began losing partial power to our house. When I called Stephanie, she was able to move our appointment to an earlier time to address our problems quickly. Chris and Seth replaced the breaker and installed a surge protector for the electrical panel.

They explained why they thought we were losing partial power to our house at random times. After checking for any discrepancies in voltage before and after our main breakers, he told us to call Oncor. Before leaving our house they completely cleaned their work area and asked us to call and report to them if Oncor resolved the problem. I called several times over the next couple of days with questions and Chris ALWAYS answered them courteously and patiently. Oncor did correct the problem and Chris saved us the time and expense of a new electrical panel.

We have utmost confidence that our electrical problems are solved and will not hesitate to call them with any future electrical needs.
